The Warpaint Series is a nice publication when put into its proper prospective. This edition of the Hawker Typhoon
proves to be quite good by any standards. There are plenty of B/W photo's and some nice color plates (even a nice line drawing making up a center fold-out section).Although I find the Warpaint series to be a good publication, I find the price range of this small magazine to be exuberant if purchasing this series in the USA. When searching Ebay these magazines generally are listed for 25.00 US plus the added shipping charges. (This is for used publications).
Camoflage and Markings
Camoflage and Markings Luftwaffe 1935-1945 pt.1 by Jaroslaw Wrobel
The camoflage and markings book is a rather nice publication filled with valuable information along with nice color plates, black and white photos, and drawings displaying many markings and camoflage schemes which prove very useful for modeling these aircraft. The only downside to this publication is that it was published in parts, so all the variants are not covered in this single edition. Below are some photo examples from this edition.
