The Czech kits are some what of a challenge, so if your new to modeling you may not want to start with a kit such as this.
1.
The contents of the bag look pretty good. There is a true Details cockpit included with the parts, plus two vacuform canopies.
2.
The prefit looks OK, but I can see a few problem spots that will need attention.
3
I circled some of the problem areas.
4.
A closer look at the nose gap.
5.
The True Details cockpit lacks detail. Oh well, you wont see much of it any way.
6.
The cock pit needs plenty of filing and sanding to get it to fit in the fuselage properly.
7.
After sanding for a few hours I got the cockpit to fit, although I will have to rescibe many panel lines.
8.
Wheel well's went it fairly good but the nose wheel well needed reshaped to look semi right.
9.
The fuselage lines at mid tail section didnt line up proper, I had to do a bit filling and sanding around the long slim slotted area to give the illiussion of a proper fit.
10.
As you can see there are some rather large gaps at the wing roots.
Overall the Czech Model Dark Shark will come together as a nice build but be warned it will require a lot of effort on the modelers part.
There are quite a few issues with the fit at the wing roots and the two halves of the fuselage needing to be manipulated to achieve a proper fit. Also be warned that the canopy may not want to sit right when placed over the cockpit.
